I find the title of Rich Dad, Poor Dad interesting. I teach both highly privilege youngsters and some from the poorest neighbourhoods.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I'd have to say over all, is the the wealthier parents seems to have a better skill set for life in general. They have higher expectations of their kids, to which they tend to respond.
One thing I really noticed, they teach their kids it is OK to charge for services they provide, and to make money by charging a client more and paying someone else less to do the job. I've seen a few teens setting up businesses with employees in these wealthier neighbourhoods.
