The U.S Government paid $998,798.38 to C&D Distributors of Lexington, South Carolina to have
two washers shipped to the Middle East, according to a news report. The washers are not the washing machine type of washers, they are the little nuts and bolts type of washers, the kind that could be put in a small envelope and sent for 90 cents for first class international air mail. Obviously, the government is going after the company to get back the overcharges.
