Are Fast Food Stocks Good for You?
In spite of the fact that more and more people are becoming more health conscious, millions of people still patronize fast food restaurants. Even the hedge funds have the attention of fast food stocks. William Ackman, the activist hedge fund manager, was involved with McDonald's Corp. (MCD) and Wendy's International Inc. (WEN).
Trivia: McDonald's was first started as a barbecue drive-in in 1940.
Here are some fast food stocks that you might want to take a bite out of. They all have market caps over $500 million.
Burger King Corporation (BKC) is the owner and franchiser of over 11,000 Burger King restaurants around the world. The stock has a price earnings ratio of 23.86, a price earnings to growth ratio of 1.32, and a yield of 1%.
CEC Entertainment Inc. (CEC) operates over 480 Chuck E. Cheese restaurants. The stock has a price earnings ratio of 14.08, and a price earnings to growth ratio of 1.24.
CKE Restaurants Inc. (CKR) operates over 3,000 Carl's Jr., Hardee's, and La Salsa restaurants. The stock has a price earnings ratio of 26.33, a price earnings to growth ratio of 1.25, and a yield of 1.4%.
