Oldest Stock Exchange in the U.S. Being Taken Over by NASDAQ

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange, which is the oldest stock exchange in the United States, is being taken over by Nasdaq Stock Market Inc. (NDAQ), which of course trades on NASDAQ. The Philadelphia Stock Exchange was founded in 1790, two years before the New York Stock Exchange (NYX).
