Lipper, a division of Reuters Group (RTRSY), just came out with its list of ten worst performing stock exchanges for 2007. The worst was Venezuela, which was down 29% (no surprise there), then Ireland at -25%, Japan at -10%, Sri Lanka, -8%, and Italy at -7%.
In case you were wondering who the top performer is, it was China up 87% based on its local currency. None of the North American exchanges made the top five or the bottom ten.
