Top Stock Gifts for Kids

With the holiday season coming up, parents are looking beyond just toys and games for their children. A great gift is shares in a company that provides products for kids and teenagers, and if you are going to have the shares issued in certificate form, then you want a nice vignette [picture] on the certificate. Maybe you even want to frame it in a removable frame. But you don't want just any old company, you want ones with with strong financials and good potential for for long term growth.

Here is a suggested list of stock gifts for children:

Stocks for Young Kids

Build-A-Bear Workshop Inc. (BBW) colorful certificate with bear logo and buttons. The stock has a P/E of 11 and a PEG of 2.45.

Campbell Soup Co. (CPB) for kids who like their soup, the certificate features a Campbell Soup can. The stock has a P/E of 17, a PEG of 2.6, and a yield of 2.4.

Walt Disney Co. (DIS) several Disney characters in color. PE is 15, PEG is 1.06, and the yield is 1.1%.
