Museum of American Finance Re-Opens at their New Location
If you live in or travel to the New York area, you need to stop in an see the Museum of American Finance, which just re-opened at their new 48 Wall Street location. Their 30,000 square feet of space contains numerous artifacts relating to the history of the stock market and commodities market, such as early stock tickers, ticker tapes from the 1929 crash, the oldest known photograph of Wall Street, and a U.S. Treasury Bond issued to George Washington. Don't forget to check out the stocks certificates signed by Harry Houdini, Walt Disney, and Sir Isaac Newton. I just attended the museum and was impressed, especially since it is the only investment related museum that I am aware of in the U.S.
