How Would You Like to Pay Microsoft a Monthly Fee?

Microsoft (MSFT), which trades on NASDAQ, is coming out with a new software and service package called "Albany" which the consumer would have to pay a monthly fee for. It sounds like a good idea from a business standpoint, but from a reality standpoint, with all the backlash the company received from its Vista operating system, and even the flack about all the changes that were incorporated in Office 2007, it will be very difficult for the company to get a lot of takers.
