The upstart airline, Spirit Airlines, is planning an Initial Public Offering, more commonly known as an IPO. In the company's S-1 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, it disclosed as one of its risks the "
high number of customer complaints related to, among other things, our customer service, reservations and ticketing systems and baggage handling." The company also disclosed a fine from the Department of Transportation relating to lost baggage and customer bumping.
