This week, the American Academy of Neurology’s 67th Annual Meeting is being held in Washington, DC, and a presentation will be made regarding a study showing the consumption of coffee and a lowered risk of multiple sclerosis. Previous studies have shown a possibility of lowered risk of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease with the drinking of coffee.
First, remember that there is a big difference between correlation and causation. That being said, this research will warrant further studies and may lead to breakthroughs on treating neurological issues.
