US May Implement Market Curbs in June

The Securities and Exchange Commission and the major U.S. exchanges are planning on implementing circuit breaker trading curbs as early as mid-June. These triggers would stop trading in a stock if it dropped more than 10% in five minutes.

What a ridiculous rule. Whatever happened to the free enterprise system? Will the government next start telling us what prices stocks should trade at? Gimme a break.
