The British government, along with France, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Norway are issuing $4 billion worth of bonds through the International Finance Facility for Immunisation (IFFIM), the proceeds of which would be used for the immunization of 500 million children over the next 10 years. The government bonds would pay 5% interest.
