Because of the extensive unhappiness with the Microsoft (MSFT) Vista operating system by both businesses and consumers, Microsoft has decided to come out with Windows 7, a Vista replacement, and it may appear next year. The complaints about Vista were so pervasive that Microsoft decided to extend support for Microsoft XP, the previous operating system. When Vista first came out, Dell (DELL) stopped selling XP and offered computers with only Vista, and no other options. However, reportedly Dell gave in and started giving buyers the XP option.
Let's hope that Windows 7 is better than Vista.
