If you feel your BlackBerry vibrate in your pocket, and it's not in your pocket, you're in plenty of company.
Many people feel cell phone vibrations when there are none. This 'affliction' is sometimes referred to as "ringxiety" or "fauxcellarm." The BlackBerry was developed by Research In Motion Limited (RIMM), which trades on NASDAQ.

I have carried either a beeper or a cell phone for over 20 years and I too have felt these vibrations.
But I have an answer for what they are... GAS.
I have correlated the vibrations to the natural process your intestines follow when processing your food. Gassey foods have me always checking my phone for email.
