I find the title of Rich Dad, Poor Dad interesting. I teach both highly privilege youngsters and some from the poorest neighbourhoods.
One thing I'd have to say over all, is the the wealthier parents seems to have a better skill set for life in general. They have higher expectations of their kids, to which they tend to respond.
One thing I really noticed, they teach their kids it is OK to charge for services they provide, and to make money by charging a client more and paying someone else less to do the job. I've seen a few teens setting up businesses with employees in these wealthier neighbourhoods.
I think this list is too skewed to currently popular investing books focusing more on what's hot now, as opposed to the most respected classics of all time. For an alternative list of top 10 investing books of all time, please refer to
