'Taco Bell Purchase of Liberty Bell: Renamed Taco Liberty Bell'
Taco Bell Corp., a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, Inc. (YUM), which trades on the New York Stock Exchange, "purchased the Liberty Bell and renamed it the Taco Liberty Bell" according the the Museum of Hoaxes. This was a hoax from 1996, and number 4 of the top 100 hoaxes.
