eBay (EBAY), which trades on NASDAQ, has had listings for a lot of unusual items. Now you can bid on electricity through eBay. The privately held MXenergy, which competes with United Illuminating (UIL) which trades on the New York Stock Exchange, is making this offer on eBay. MXenergy is accepting bids on a megawatt of electricity in the Connecticut area.
