Donald Trump Giving Amway a Run for Its Money

Donald Trump, a member of the Forbes 400 richest Americans, is involved in a lot of different business activities, everything from real estate, to casinos, to television shows to hotels. In addition to his write-up in the October 19 issue of Forbes, he was featured in a two page color photograph. This icon of wealth is now getting into the multi-level marketing (also called network marketing) business, under the name (what else) The Trump Network.

It appears that Trump wants a piece of the revenues generated by Amway (privately held), Herbalife Ltd. (HLF), Nu Skin Enterprises Inc. (NUS), and USANA Health Sciences Inc. (USNA). Just the three publicly traded companies generate over $4 billion in revenues alone.

The Trump Network is initially selling customized nutritional supplements, weight loss snacks, and mood infusion beverages. Trump is signing up marketers now although the official launch is November 13 in Miami, Florida.

I hope Trump is smart enough to stay out of the tool scam business:

With Trumps experience and money, I'm sure he'll make this company a huge success. It seems science, technology, and nature have come together to give the American people what they need and want regarding health and wellness.
